How to Complete the final testing (Slutprov) for AES
Before you can successfully go live and declare exports in the new AES system, it is essential to obtain approval from Swedish customs.
This process must be conducted within a test environment in version 12.330. If you do not have a test environment set up, please contact support@emmasys.com
To access the test environment, please select the database labeled "test" and choose version 12.330.

TESS - AES new Standard customs declaration for exports
To facilitate the testing process, we have developed a set of standard samples that you can utilize for submitting your declaration.
A new procedure in three steps
The new export process consists of data submission in three steps: export declaration, presentation of goods at the office of exit and exit notification of goods.
- Step 1 – Export declaration
The declarant draws up a standard customs declaration and sends the customs declaration digitally to Swedish Customs in message IE515 to release the goods into the export customs procedure. - Step 2 – Presentation of goods to the office of exit
When the goods arrive at the place of exit, the carrier submits an exit notification for the goods to the customs office of exit in message IE507. The notification refers to the MRN of the customs declaration. - Step 3 – Exit notification of goods
When the goods have left the customs territory of the EU, the carrier must notify the customs office of exit that the goods have been removed. This is done with message IE590.
Step 1: Export declaration CC515C
To begin the export declaration process, open the customs module in Emma and press Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard. This action will launch the Emma Connect window. Next, navigate to the field"Common Samples" tab, highlight the "EXP AES Slutprov," and click on "Load Data."
The declaration will be nearly complete; however, you must enter:
- EORI in the 1301 exporter field.
- Representative in 1306
- Once you have filled in this information, click "Insert."
Ensure that you are sending message type CC515C
After sending the message type CC515C, you will receive an output control notification. This message will indicate that the container indicator status is "YES," and there are no mention of a container number.
To address any error messages, simply double-click on the error notification, and the Emma system will direct you to the relevant field. In this instance, you will need to enter the information in field 1907.
Next, input the container number as PLSV1234567, enter "0" in the seals field, and proceed by clicking "Insert" to submit the declaration.
Once the declaration has attained status 9, you may proceed to Step 2 outlined below.
Step 2: Presentation of goods to the office of exit CC507C
From the tulltabell view, select the relevant declarations and click on the "Arrival at Exit" button.
Please refer to the declaration guide provided by Tullverket for detailed information on the required values for each field:
Next, ensure the following mandatory fields are completed in the arrival at Exit window:
- **1312 (Exit Carrier)**: Enter the carrier's EORI number.
- **1701 (Customs Office of Exit)**: It is crucial that this matches across all selected declarations in F6.
- **1615 (Designated or Approved Location)**: Specify either ‘A’ or ‘C’, and indicate whether it is a Customs Office or EORI, which will likely be the same as the carrier.
The declaration will remain in status 9a until the exit process is completed
Step 3: Exit notification of goods - CC590C
The final step involves submitting the Exit Notification, designated as CC590C.
To proceed, select the approved CC590C declaration and click the "Exit Notification" button.
Use the declaration guide for slutprov 3
Next, you will need to input the type of the previous declaration, the exit office, and the date of exit.
If you encounter any discrepancies, please select "Yes."
Finally, complete the required fields for your role and ID, and click "Save" to finalize the process.
The declaration will change to status 9x, signifying that it has been approved and the exit process is complete.
To submit your final testing for approval, please notify the EDI testing function via email
