Applying for Invalidation of an Import Declaration (Sweden)
If you need to invalidate an import declaration, you must submit an electronic request for invalidation.
This applies to the following declaration types:
-
Standard import declaration (IMDS)
-
Centralised clearance import (CCIMDS)
-
Simplified declaration (IFDS)
-
Supplementary declarations (IKDS, IKES)
-
Low value consignments (ILDS)
For EIDR registrations (IEDA), invalidation must be requested via Swedish Customs’ e-services.
How to Request Invalidation
See the Swedish Customs guide: How to apply for invalidation of an import declaration.
To request invalidation, submit the same message type as used for amendments (e.g. IMDC, CCIMDC, IFDC, IKDC, IKEC or ILDC).
Change the message type either via “Korrigera” in the Tulltabell or from the F12 menu in the declaration window.

Add the code OGILT and provide a justification in data element 1202:
-
Code OGILT in data element 12 02 008 000 (Additional information – Code)
-
A justification and legal basis in 12 02 009 000 (Additional information – Text)

The request must be submitted against the latest approved version of the declaration.
You cannot request an amendment and invalidation at the same time.
Invalidation can be requested when the declaration is in status:
-
Accepted
-
Released
Refund Information
If duties have already been paid, you may indicate who should receive the refund.
If no payee is specified, the refund is issued to the declarant.
If the refund is to be paid to another party (e.g. an agent), a valid power of attorney must be available.
For low value consignments (ILDC), the refund recipient is determined via the payment method code:
-
E – Declarant with deferred payment
-
A – Declarant without deferred payment
-
D – Agent
