What to do then ICS2 is not working
After submitting the ENS or arrival message and if a response is not received, it is crucial to follow the steps outlined below:
Wait for 30 Minutes:
- After 30 minutes, the Central Service Desk (CSD) should notify the National Service Desk (NSD) if there is a central system issue. The NSD will inform you if ICS2 is unavailable.
- Resend the same messages multiple times.
- Use the split consignment or re-entry indicators unnecessarily.
- Attempt alternative or "creative" solutions.

Adding MRN
If the ENS has been submitted but remains in status 3, it is important to contact the customs authorities to request a response, as referenced above. If customs confirms that the message has been received and a response has been sent but has not arrived, you can utilize the ADD MRN button. This action allows you to add the MRN, and the ENS will then progress to status 3D. Subsequent messages will be processed automatically.
