Digitoll - Install a Foreign Business Certificate in Emma CMS
Install a Foreign Business Certificate in Emma CMS
If your company has a foreign business certificate, it can be used for authentication when communicating with Digitoll.
Before installing the certificate, the company must be registered as a Digitoll operator with Norwegian Customs using its foreign company registration number, for example a CVR number for Danish companies.
Once the registration has been completed, the certificate can be installed in Emma CMS.
1. Open Send/Receive
Open Send/Receive in Emma CMS.

2. Open Settings
Go to Settings.
3. Open the Digitoll settings
Select the Kurermanifest / E-tollmanifest tab.
Under Maskinporten:

- Select the environment: Test or Prod, depending on which environment you want to use.
- Click Load Certificate.
- Navigate to the location where the authentication certificate (
.p12) is stored and select the file. - Enter the password provided by the certificate issuer.
- Select origin EU
- Enter a value in the Integration ID field. For example, foreign companies can use their CVR number.
- Click Save Settings.
The certificate is now installed in Emma CMS and can be used for authentication when communicating with Digitoll.
Note: This procedure is intended for companies using a foreign business certificate. Norwegian companies normally use a Norwegian business certificate together with a Maskinporten integration.
