AES - Correction of an unreleased export declaration
How to do a correction of an unreleased export declaration (CC5289)
You can request a correction to an export declaration while it has the status Accepted. To make a correction at this stage, the IE513 - Request for Correction or Amendment of an Export Declaration message is used.
Please note: The following details cannot be corrected or amended using the IE513 message:
- 11 01 000 000 – Declaration type
- 11 02 000 000 – Additional declaration type
- 11 07 000 000 – Security
- 12 09 000 000 – LRN
- 13 01 000 000 – Exporter
- 13 05 000 000 – Declarant
- 13 06 000 000 – Representative
- 17 02 000 000 – Customs office of export
- 17 09 000 000 – Customs office of presentation
Correction after receiving CC529
If an export declaration has received a CC529 message, it cannot be corrected immediately. You must wait until an Exit has been received before making the correction.
