Emma Azure user setup

Set up you account

If it's your first time using the Windows App, navigate through the tour to learn more about Windows App, then select Done or Skip.Set password
Go to https://aka.ms/sspr
Enter username and the text in the picture. Click “Next”.

Click “Email” to send a verification code to your email.

You should within a minute receive an email like this. Enter the code received in the email.

 

Select a password.

  1. Minimum 8 characters.

  2. Combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Click “Click here” to sign in to your account with the new password and setup multifactor authentication (MFA).

Set up Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

  1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator APP from Google Play (Android) or App Store (IOS).

  2. Sign in to https://aka.ms/mfasetup from your computer.

    1. If the @emmasys.onmicrosoft.com account is not available, try to sign in with InPrivate mode.

  3. Click “Next” to start setting up MFA with Microsoft Authenticator APP.

Click “Next” again when you have successfully installed the app on your phone.

On your phone, open the Authenticator app and click the + symbol in top right corner to add an account.
Select “Work or school account”.
Click “Next” on your computer.

Select “Scan QR code” in the app, and scan the QR code displayed on your computer.

  1. Click “Next” when account has been added to your Authenticator app.

  2. Now enter the code displayed on the screen on your phone to test the app.

  3. MFA setup is now complete and you can use Authenticator to securely sign in to your Emma account.

 

Sign in to Emma

Windows / macOS

Download and install the Windows App from Microsoft Store on your PC, or Mac App Store for MAC.
Start Windows App when innstalled.

Select Sign in and sign in with your user account for Azure Virtual Desktop that you just setup earlier. If you're signed in to your local Windows device with a work or school account on a managed device, you're signed in automatically.

If it's your first time using the Windows App, navigate through the tour to learn more about Windows App, then select Done or Skip.

 

After you sign in, select the Apps tab to show your remote resources from Azure Virtual Desktop.

Klick Connect and select database and version, and click Run to start Emma.

 

Web Client

Go to: https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/

The web client does not require any setup. Just sign in with your @emmasys.onmicrosoft.com account and start Emma.

We recommend downloading and installing the “Remote desktop” client for daily use.


ChromeOS

  1. Download and install the Remote Desktop client from Google Play.

  2. Open the RD Client app on your device.

  3. In the Connection Center, select +, then select Add Workspace.

  4. In the Email or Workspace URL box, enter https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com

  5. Select Next.

  6. Sign in with your @emmasys.onmicrosoft.com account. After a few seconds, your workspaces should show the Emma application.
