Create new user

How to create a new user in Emmasped.

To create a user in Emma you need to be a boss user. If you are a regular user, you will have to ask your supervisor or a person that has the right permissions to do this.

 

Start by choosing Maintanance > SystemADM 

Choose User, then press F5 clear the screen to create a new user.

Signature - Choose a signature for the user. Usually initials or a short name for the user.

Authentication - Choose 'Internt' if you do not have a 'Active Directory'. 

Password - Press enter through this field and the system will generate a password (same as the signature) Double click in this field to see your password. The user is able to change this after logging into Emma.

Name - Full name is required.

Hide is set to 'No' as long as the user is active, and still using Emma.

CRM maintenance You can choose if your user are going to have these permissions or not. If the user is going to have permissions, choose 'Yes'.

Telephone - The telephone number you fill in will be shown on the declaration. 

Startup from - Choose what you would like Emma to open. If this field is left blank, no windows will pop up when opening Emma.

E-mail - Your E-mail address, this will be shown on your declaration.

Department - Set to 'Alle'

Customs Department - Not a required field, but can be used if you have several departments.

Menu group - Choose regular user for users. Boss user for users that needs more permissions. 

Press 'Save', and the user is created.
